Bottle cap art.

Everyday at work, we get a pseudo-unlimited supply of Aquafina waters. So when there is a small downtime, I’ve found a passion in decorating them. Let’s just say it doesn’t kill all that much time.

Asteroids

So I found that the best time to draw is not after work but actually during work. In between meetings, I have tons of time. So here is something I did on the back of a business card.

I’ve also been decorating water-bottle caps as well. More on that later this week.

MERLION MONDAY: Part VII

Kelly does it again. She captures the typical lifestyle of a Singaporean mascot. Pearl tea (or Boba in certain parts of California) is the beast’s vice.

MERLION MONDAY: Part VI

Welcome to another installment of Merlion Monday. How appropriate that it’s Part VI(vian) of the series, considering that this week the submission is drawn by Vivian.

Its an incredibly perplexing piece: Is it an artist? Or is it a sailor who has become an artist? An artist who sails? Or a Van Gogh incarnate? Whatever you make of it, you need to wipe that tear from the corner of your eye.

AND FEEL FREE TO MAKE SUBMISSIONS HERE. Thanks.

Update: As most you probably noticed, I have no been drawing everyday for the last week. I recently started a new job and I’ve temporarily relocated to Los Angeles.  Aside from not having my scanner, I’m trying to find a balance between working long hours and drawing. Thanks for still looking and please bear with me.

MERLION MONDAY: Part IV

Today’s guest artist is Ms. Kelly. Not only has she bestowed upon us, one of the better Merlion interpretations, but she took the liberty of adding to the Mer-nimal Kingdon. Please welcome, Merpig.  No they do not share a predator-prey relationship. They live in a kingdom of friendship.

It’s Good Friday

Oni

UPDATE: Yvonne prepared her own version of today’s drawing. Artistic talent runs rampant in my family.

Read below to see Yvonne’s deep interpretation.

“The reject Oni”

Get it?? Instead of bringing disaster it’s fixing up everything after disasters! But then, it’s rejected by its fellow Onis
